It was extremely hard to try and keep track of what i had picked up and not in the South. I made me very angry and pissed because i was looking forward to hear them all chronologically to see the story development better. The one you get from the start, 8 from the North and the very first tape i picked up in the South happen to be the one with the young kid taking off some dead soldier's boots. Įxact same thing happened to my game, except i had only 10 tapes. That brrring is a very good imitation of the trophy announcement, very good. They were quite interesting to listen to and give some insight to the Jackal's motivation. The only thing that annoys me is that I'll never know what was on the those last four tapes. Lord knows if I had done that I would have been very upset as the trophy still appeared despite the list showing it was incomplete. I figured I'd post this here in case someone else (I've already read about others experiencing this on the 360 after the patch) experiences the same thing I did and considers quitting their game and restarting from the beginning. That's when I heard the 'brrring' and saw in the top right that I had obtained the trophy for turning over ALL of the jackal tapes. I then headed Southeast to the Marina to meet with the reporter with 'only' 13 tapes in my list despite knowing that I had picked up all 17 recordings thinking that like so many others, I had been screwed out of a trophy by yet another glitch from this buggy game.

Well, I picked up the final two tapes and just like the two before them, same recording and still stuck at 13 on my list despite knowing that I had grabbed all of the tapes. So I said f**k it and decided to grab the last two tapes and see what happens. Unfortunately I had already saved my game and was unable to go back to before I picked up the first duplicate tape. That's when I decided to look at the jackal tape list and noticed that it was stuck at 13 when it should have been 15. Well, I picked up another tape and noticed that the recording was once again the same one I had heard before. I just assumed that maybe I had grabbed a tape before and not saved and that's why the recording was the same. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to play. Anyway, as I was grabbing a jackal tape, I noticed that the recording was one I had already heard (about the boy who took the AK off of a dead soldier). So I've been running around Bowa-Seko looking for diamonds and jackal tapes as I get ready to beat the single player story and obtain all of the SP trophies.
